From the Parish Nurse

From the Parish Nurse
February is heart month.
Here are a few reminders to help you maintain your heart health.
Things to do EVERY DAY to Keep Your Heart Healthy
1. Eat healthy fats, not trans fats
2. Practice good dental hygiene, especially daily flossing
3. Get enough sleep
4. Don’t sit for too long at one time
5. Avoid second hand smoke
We can do this!
Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows      from it” (NIV).
